- After 24 hours of travelling we are now enjoying Paris. The trip was uneventful and seemed to disappear quick enough. Thankfully no lost luggage this time! Our accommodation is perfect and is within walking distance of most of the key Parisian sights. Today we spent time at the Musee Rodin, the home of "The Thinker" and "Hells Gates" and the amazing Musee D'orsay which houses an unbelievable array of works from Lautrec, Monet, Van Gough and Renior. Of course the food and coffee has been fantastic, Crepes Croisonts, Baguettes the list goes on.
Ian,Michelle, louis,Monte and Myles leave on six months of European travel starting January 17 2010. Beginning in Paris where they will pick their car up they will travel through France, Germany and Austria to Italy where they will spend a month skiing. The remainder of the time will be spent traveling out of bases in Vasto (Italy) and the Island of Ischia (Southern Italy). In Early June they will travel to Britian and then back to France to depart to Australia.
